LOS ANGELES (Monday, April 9, 2018) – The LA Galaxy (2-2-1, 7 points) are on the road this week in MLS Regular Season play, facing Chicago Fire on Saturday, April 14 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. (Univision).
The LA Galaxy are 20-15-7 all-time against Chicago Fire, going 9-9-3 in all road competitions. They met once in 2017, when LA Galaxy rallied at StubHub Center to draw 2-2 after being down 2-0 at halftime. A header from Daniel Steres and successful penalty kick from Giovani dos Santos secured a point for the Galaxy at home in the contest last May.
Over the weekend, fell 2-0 to Sporting KC at StubHub Center. The Galaxy are now 2-1-0 at home in 2018, while going 0-1-1 on the road. LA Galaxy will return home the following week, hosting Atlanta United for the first time at StubHub Center.
