StubHub Center announced today the lineup for the 2018 Summer Concert Series, presented by Kinecta Federal Credit Union, which will feature multiple music artists and bands to the local community during four free separate concerts at StubHub Center. The series will kick off on Friday, June 1 with Grammy Award-winning Latin Jazz conga player Poncho Sánchez.
Along with Poncho Sánchez kicking off the Summer Concert Series at StubHub Center, this year’s lineup features DW3, Quentin Cheatham, Tammera, Rakim and A Tribute to the ‘90s, a ‘90s party with special guest DJs. The concerts will take place at the Pitch & Pale area at StubHub Center on the first Friday night in June, July, August, and September.
As is custom, parking and admission are free to all four concerts with award-winning food trucks and local craft beers on site. The concerts are also pet-friendly, with a special dog area available. Doors to Pitch & Pale, located in the Southeast Entrance of StubHub Center, open at 5 p.m. PT.
The four separate dates will take place as part of StubHub Center’s 15th Anniversary celebration, which will see the venue host 15 special events in 2018 to commemorate the early history of one of Los Angeles’ premier sporting venues. Since its opening in 2003, the venue has welcomed over 16 million fans inside its gates, hosting a mix of soccer, football, tennis, boxing and rugby contests in addition to concerts and other international competitions. It has served as a world-class training base for over 20,000 top athletes from around the world, its 15-year history.
