Mexico hope to build off Germany win against South Korea in their second match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Mexico is determined to build off their historic victory over Germany in their second 2018 FIFA World Cup group stage match against South Korea (8 am PT, FOX/Telemundo) at Rostov Arena on Saturday.

El Tri defeated defending champions, Germany last week to start their tournament with a bang. Hirving Lozano provided the goal, while goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa made nine saves to give the nation the win.

Despite knocking out the reigning world champions and World Cup favorites in their first match, the Mexico team is determined not to be overconfident.

The praise is dangerous and treacherous, but we come from so much criticism that we do not believe it," midfielder Andres Guardado said. "We haven't won anything, it's three points, and we don't get more points by being Germany. We have to go out in the same way as last Sunday."
