CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy stayed level in the MLS Power Rankings presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment.
The Galaxy played LAFC to a 1-1 draw on Friday and find themselves in fifth place in the Western Conference with just seven games remaining. Los Angeles will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on Real Salt Lake.

Missing starters in a number of positions, the Galaxy squeezed out a point with a 1-1 draw against LAFC at the StubHub Center. Sigi Schmid's team was the better side for much of the match and can only be disappointed with the result.
The Galaxy defended very well against LAFC, and only a penalty conceded marred their El Trafico. But despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic's best efforts, morale really hasn't improved and the Galaxy are being targeted as the team to fall out of the playoff spots. It's up to them to prevent that from happening.
