ASHLEY COLE vs. COLORADO RAPIDS

The captain was on the loose against the Colorado Rapids.

Cole scored a beautiful individual effort in the team’s 2-2 draw when he dribbled past two defenders and fired a beautiful left-footed shot into the back of the net for the finish.

MIGUEL AGUILAR vs. SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC

Miguel Aguilar scored an absolute beaut in LA Galaxy II’s big win in California’s Capital.

Aguilar tallied the first goal in the team’s 4-1 win over the Sacramento Republic when he maneuvered past the opposition and launched a blast from close range to give Los Dos the lead.

ROMAIN ALESSANDRINI vs. MINNESOTA UNITED

Romain Alessandrini enjoyed a banner month of August which was capped by a rocket from distance against the Loons.

The play began with a lovely bit of interplay between Alessandrini and Zlatan Ibrahimović, which helped the Frenchman find his way past several Minnesota defenders. With the ball at his feet, Alessandrini unleashed a low-rolling shot that found its way into the near post.

EDDIECALDERON vs. BSTC U11

Take a bow, Eddie Calderon.

The LA Galaxy Under-11 forward scored an insane finish in his squad’s match against a Brazilian side early this month. The 11-year-old’s goal was simply audacious as he completed a remarkable bicycle kick to put his squad on the board.

SEBASTIAN LLETGET vs. MINNESOTA UNITED

Sebastian Lletget had a stellar tally in the team’s draw with Minnesota United.

Lletget slid past a pair of defenders and then sent a hard left-footed shot past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
