LOS ANGELES (Monday, Oct. 22, 2018) – The LA Galaxy (13-11-9, 48 points) return home to host Houston Dynamo (11-19-3, 35 points) in their regular season home finale at 1:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Oct. 28 at StubHub Center. The match will be broadcast live on Spectrum Sportsnet.
Over the weekend, the Galaxy earned a crucial 3-1 win over Minnesota United FC on the road to keep their playoff hopes alive. In the match, Zlatan Ibrahimović opened the scoring with a goal in the 30th minute, which was his 22nd of the season for the LA Galaxy. Ola Kamara and Romain Alessandrini also contributed to the score line, finding goals in back-to-back minutes early in the second half.
With one game left in the 2018 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy sit in 7th place in the Western Conference standings. The Galaxy are one point away from playoff contention, with Real Salt Lake (14-13-7, 49 points) currently in 6th, but no remaining games left in regular season play. To clinch their spot in the playoffs, the LA Galaxy must secure a win on Sunday.
