Match Preview: LA Galaxy II return to Los Angeles looking for their first win at home of 2019

LA Galaxy II (1-2-0, 3 points) return to LA for their second home fixture of 2019 against Portland Timbers 2 (2-0-1, 7 points) at Dignity Health Sports Park Track & Field Stadium on Saturday, March 30 at 7 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Tickets to the match are available here.

Los Dos are searching for their first win at home in 2019 as they head into Saturday’s match against Portland. The team has shown they can produce offensively having scored four goals already this season. However, with nine goals conceded in three games, the Galaxy will need to stabilize their defense. LA Galaxy II have experienced moments of success defensively, which can be seen in their first game on the road against Tacoma Defiance. In the match, Los Dos and goalkeeper Justin Vom Steeg recorded their first clean sheet of the season, with a 3-0 victory over Tacoma.

This weekend’s competition remains undefeated three games into the season, with a 1-1 draw against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on the road and a 3-1 victory over San Antonio FC on the road in the rearview.
