Gardening Day at Leapwood Avenue Elementary School

Last week, the LA Galaxy participated in the MLS WORKS Greener Goals Week or Service when they hosted Gardening Day at Leapwood Avenue Elementary School, volunteering with the Garden School Foundation to help beautify the on-site garden at the local elementary school. As part of the project, the LA Galaxy have worked to educate the students on sustainable horticulture and proper garden maintenance so that the students can tend to the garden and grow their own produce, utilizing the Galaxy Garden at Dignity Health Sports Park as a resource.
