Carlos Harvey and Ernesto Walker named to Panama's U-20 squad for 2019 U-20 FIFA World Cup

LA Galaxy II midfielders Carlos Harvey and Ernesto Walker have been named by Panamanian U-20 National Team Head Coach Jorge Luis Daly Valdez to the team's 23-man roster for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland 2019.

Harvey earned his first senior call up with the Panama National Team for a friendly against the U.S. Men’s National Team on Jan. 27, 2019 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Prior to his senior debut, Harvey made six appearances, five starts and provided one assist for the Panama U-20 National Team during the 2018 U-20 Concacaf Championship.

Walker also received his first senior call up with the Panama MNT earlier this year against the U.S. Men’s National Team in January. Most recently, Walker joined Panama's senior squad to play in an international friendly against Brazil on March 23 at FC Porto's Dragão Stadium in Porto, Portugal.

In his career, Walker has featured for the Panama U-20 National Team on six occasions, recording four starts and two goals to date. Both goals came against the Mexico U-20 National Team during the qualification round of the Concacaf U-20 Championship.
