LOS ANGELES -- The LA Galaxy dropped in the MLS Power Rankings presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment after suffering their first defeat in three matches.
The Galaxy fell 2-1 to the New England Revolution last Sunday, snapping their two-game winning streak. Los Angeles has lost the last three matches at home and will return to action on June 12 when they host Orange County FC in the U.S. Open Cup.

"The Galaxy labored their way to a 2-1 defeat at home against New England on Sunday night. It's the kind of result that looks bad on paper and worse in reality. LA now hits a brief pause ahead of the Gold Cup, a well-timed chance to recharge the batteries and work out some of the defensive kinks in evidence against the Revs."
"Maybe this is who we are," said by Zlatan Ibrahimovic after Bruce Arena's Revolution put in a road upset over the Galaxy, is one of the most surprising statements of the season. He may be right, but the surprise is that Ibrahimovic seems to be lacking belief, maybe for the first time ever?"
