LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy U-16/17’s fell in the Developmental Academy semifinal to Solar SC on Monday at Orange County Great Park.
The Galaxy battled back twice from deficits but was unable to overcome the Texan side, losing 3-2. Andre Ochoa and Nestor Molina scored for the Galaxy in the defeat.
The Galaxy’s defeat ensures that a non-MLS academy will win the U16/17 Boys Developmental Academy National Team for the first time since 2009.
