LOS ANGELES -- The LA Galaxy moved up the MLS Power Rankings presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment.
The Galaxy face a double-game week with matches against Real Salt Lake on Wednesday and Vancouver Whitecaps FC four days later. Los Angeles could potentially clinch a berth in the postseason as early as Wednesday.

Cristian Pavon isn't necessarily filling up the scoresheet every game but there's no doubt, he's materially helping facilitate a truly team-based attack for the first time for the Galaxy in years. 2020 will likely be the big year for Pavon to show what he can do, but he's making a real impact right away.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored a lot of jaw-dropping goals in his career, maybe more than any man alive. His tally on Saturday to help the Galaxy to a 2-1 win over Montreal was not one of those. Sometimes it just pays to be standing in the right spot.
