Five LA Galaxy players called up for international duty

LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2019) – The LA Galaxy have had five players called up to their respective national teams for the upcoming FIFA international break. Sebastian Lletget (United States), Uriel Antuna, Jonathan dos Santos (Mexico), Rolf Feltscher (Venezuela) and Giancarlo Gonzalez (Costa Rica) have all been called up to their respective national teams for the upcoming FIFA international window.


Lletget and the USMNT will first take on Jonathan dos Santos and Uriel Antuna’s Mexico squad at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Friday, Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m. PT (FS1, Univision, TUDN). The USMNT will then face Uruguay on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis (8 p.m. PT; FS1, Univision, TUDN) while Mexico face Argentina the same day at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX (6:30 p.m. PT).


Feltscher’s Venezuela squad is set for a contest against Colombia in Florida on Tuesday, Sept. 10 while Giancarlo Gonzalez and Costa Rica will host Uruguay at Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica on Friday, Sept. 6.


The LA Galaxy will next play on Sunday, Sept. 1 on the road vs. Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field (3:30 p.m. PT; FS1. FOX Deportes). The club then has a bye weekend in MLS before traveling for a contest against the Colorado Rapids on the road at Dick’s Sports Goods Park on Wednesday, Sept. 11 (6 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet).
