LA Galaxy II announce roster decisions ahead of 2020 USL Championship season

LOS ANGELES (Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019) – The LA Galaxy announced today the club has exercised eight contract options for players from the team’s 2019 roster. An additional six players remain under contract, bringing the club’s current roster to 14 players under contract for the 2020 USL Championship season.


The Galaxy have exercised contract options on the following eight players: defender Nick DePuy, midfielder Carlos Harvey, forward Mohammed Kamara, forward Frank Lopez, defender Omar Ontiveros, goalkeeper Abraham Romero, midfielder Adrian Vera and forward Augustine Williams.


The following players remain under contract through next season: goalkeeper Eric Lopez, defender Mauricio Cuevas, midfielder Adam Saldaña, midfielder Ivan Gutierrez, midfielder Jorge Hernandez and midfielder Kai Koreniuk.


Additionally, the LA Galaxy have declined the options of the following players: midfielder Jose Hernandez, midfielder Brian Iloski and Don Tchilao.


The following players are out of contract: midfielder Geoffrey Acheampong, defender Justin Fiddes, John Requejo and defender Nate Schultz.


The club remains in negotiations with the following players: defender Justin Fiddes, midfielder Brian Iloski and defender Nate Schultz.
