The LA Galaxy Under-17's advanced to the final round of the Generation Adidas Cup after earning a 4-2-0 record in regional qualifying. The Galaxy will face CD Guadalajara, Southhampton FC, and New York City FC in Group B at the Toyota Soccer Center at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas from April 4-11.
Qualifying for the 2020 Generations Adidas Cup wrapped up on Monday with 25 MLS teams competing in the Under-17 division and 24 in the Under-15 division. In a format change from years past, the top two MLS clubs in each U-17 group will advance to face top international clubs in Division 1 play, while third and fourth place teams will play Liga MX opponents in Division 2, and the remaining clubs will play in Division 3 against a diverse set of international clubs.
