The LA Galaxy and the Portland Timbers finish off Matchday 6 of the MLS is Back Tournament when they meet in Group F play on July 13.

Portland fell 3-1 to Minnesota United at Providence Park in their season opener on March 1 and it wasn't smooth sailing in their next match either at home against Nashville SC, but a pretty goal from Diego Valeri wound up standing as the difference in a hard-fought 1-0 victory. They didn't quite look like their usual selves yet, but the Timbers remain a veteran group with plenty of big-game experience to lean on ahead of the tournament.

For the Galaxy, all eyes will return to Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, who struggled to get consistently involved as he went scoreless through his first two MLS games and the club netted just one goal -- a worldie from Cristian Pavon against the Houston Dynamo in Week 1. On paper, there's as much attacking talent on the Galaxy roster as just about anyone in the league, so there's reason to believe they'll get that turned around.
