Starting XI presented by Modelo: San Jose Earthquakes vs. LA Galaxy | October 3, 2020

Lineup Notes:

• Guillermo Barros Schelotto will make just one change to the lineup for Saturday’s contest against San Jose as Perry Kitchen enters the match in place of the suspended Julian Araujo, as Sebastian Lletget slides out wide.
• In net is goalkeeper David Bingham, who will face his former team in what will mark his 175^th start in Major League Soccer. He has started all 13 matches for LA this season.
• Making his third-straight start at right back is Venezuelan international Rolf Feltscher, who has played the role there in Julian Araujo’s absence.
• In the middle is Daniel Steres, who has started every match for the club since the return to MLS play. It will mark the 115^thMLS appearance for Steres and his 11^th this year with LA.
• Nick DePuy will continue to round out the center-back pairing with Steres in the middle of the backline. The former forward has started in every match since the restart of play in local markets.
• On the left is Emiliano Insua, one of the Galaxy’s most consistent players this season and one of just three players to start in all 13 games this year. 
• In the center of the field is USMNT and Liga MX veteran Joe Corona, who quietly is one of the most important players in the Galaxy lineup. Corona has two goals and three assists since joining the club.
• Midfielder Perry Kitchen makes the 200^th start of his Major League Soccer career. Only 26 active players in MLS have made more starts.
• Making his third-straight start for LA since returning from injury is Jonathan dos Santos, will help balance the center of the field Saturday night against San Jose.
• On the right side of the field will be USMNT veteran Sebastian Lletget, who has recorded a strong season thus far. Da’ Boy has four goals and two assists this year.
• On the left side of the midfield is Argentine Cristian Pavon, who is one of the most talented players in MLS. He has six goals and four assists in all 13 starts this year.
• With his third-straight start is DP Javier Hernandez, who makes his sixth start of the season. Chicharito will lead the team up top.

Game Notes:

• The LA Galaxy are 4-3-2 in their last seven contests.
• LA are 4-0-1 this year when scoring the first goal and 1-5-1 when conceding first.
• All time, LA are 32-24-16 vs. the San Jose Earthquakes
• LA are 1-1-2 all time at Earthquakes Stadium.
