Four additional LA Galaxy players depart for international duty

LOS ANGELES (Monday, Nov. 9, 2020) – Four additional LA Galaxy players have been called up international duty with their respective countries. In addition to midfielder Sebastian Lletget joining the USMNT roster, defender Giancarlo Gonzalez (Costa Rica), defender Rolf Feltscher (Venezuela), midfielder Jonathan dos Santos (Mexico) and midfielder Efrain Alvarez (Mexico U-20) have all been called up to international duty.

Gonzalez and Costa Rica will face Qatar on Friday, Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. PT in a friendly match.

Feltscher will join Venezuela, who is set to face off against Brazil on Friday, Nov. 13 at 1:30 p.m. PT before a match against Chile on Tuesday Nov. 17 in FIFA World Cup Qualifying Group Stage contests.

Dos Santos joins Mexico for matches against South Korea on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m. PT and Japan on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. PT. Both matches will be played in Austria.

Alvarez will join the Mexico U-20 roster for a training camp at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) of the Mexico Football Federation that will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 15

The LA Galaxy concluded their 2020 MLS season on Sunday following their match vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
