LA Galaxy 2020 MLS home opener set for Saturday, March 7 at Dignity Health Sports Park vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC


LOS ANGELES (Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019) – The five-time MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy’s 2020 home opener is set for Saturday, March 7 at Dignity Health Sports Park against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 7 p.m. PT. The club will kick off their 25th season in Major League Soccer on Saturday, Feb. 29 on the road at BBVA Compass Stadium against the Houston Dynamo (12:30 p.m. PT).

In their third contest, the LA Galaxy will travel to South Florida to face Inter Miami CF on Saturday, March 14 in what will mark the expansion club’s first Regular Season home game in their inaugural season in Major League Soccer. The game is set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. ET (11:30 a.m. PT) at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

During the 2020 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents twice during the season, one game at home and one game away, for a total of 24 matches. The additional 10 regular season matches will be played against opponents from the other conference. Those inter-conference opponents will be revealed with the full 2020 schedule in the coming weeks.
