The LA Galaxy Academy is taking part in the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs in the U15, U16, and U19 competitions. Follow along here for updates throughout the competitions.

In the U15s' second match, the Galaxy defeated DC United 3-1 with Chidebe scoring his third goal of the tournament, while Ortega grabbed his second and Alessio Benedetti notched his first goal of the playoffs.
The U19s defeated Weston FC 3-0 with goals from Johnny Gonzalez, Ryan Hartley, and Carson Sagely on June 15 to begin their postseason run.
The U16s narrowly lost to the Columbus Crew in penalties 5-4 after a 1-1 result in regular time on Saturday, June 14.
The U15s opened up the tournament with a 5-0 win over Real Colorado on June 14. Ikenna Chidebe bagged a brace for the Galaxy while Roberto Hernandez, Nicolas Ortega, and Hezeki Tennyson each scored one goal in the victory.
