LA Galaxy II will travel for a match against Portland Timbers 2 at Merlo Field this Saturday, July 16.

All time, the Galaxy are 8-9-5 against the Houston Dynamo in the MLS Regular Season, including 4-3-3 in matches at home. Friday marks the second time the Galaxy face Houston this season. In their first contest, the Galaxy earned a 4-1 win on the road against the Dynamo behind a brace from Giovani dos Santos and goals from Gyasi Zardes and Baggio Husidic.
The Galaxy earned a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC Saturday at CenturyLink Field behind a first-half goal from Robbie Keane, who scored the game-winning goal in his second-straight match. The Galaxy are tied for second in MLS in goals scored (31) and the Galaxy’s +13 goal differential this year is the best in MLS. LA have lost just twice in their previous 16 MLS matches and in their previous six MLS matches, they have given up just two goals.
This season, the Galaxy are 5-0-4 at StubHub Center, scoring 20 goals while allowing just eight. The Galaxy have been one of the most successful MLS teams at home during the last four seasons, scoring 137 total goals at StubHub Center, the most of any team. The Galaxy’s home MLS record throughout the last four seasons is 39-5-15, with 137 goals for and just 44 against. Since 2014, the Galaxy have only lost five of their previous 59 MLS games at StubHub Center.
