LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 27, 2018) – The LA Galaxy (10-9-8, 38 points) head to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on Real Salt Lake (12-10-5, 41 points) at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 1. The match will be broadcast live on Spectrum Sportsnet and Spectrum Deportes.
Saturday’s contest against Real Salt Lake will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. In the first match, the LA Galaxy defeated Real Salt Lake 3-0 on June 9 at StubHub Center. In that match, Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a pair of second half goals to give the Galaxy the lead. Ola Kamara also contributed one goal to the scoreline.

The #Zlatan500 watch remains in effect. Ibrahimović is just one goal shy of 500 goals for club and country, a feat achieved only by two active players in world soccer: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
In the Galaxy’s last contest on Aug. 24, they secured a 1-1 draw against LAFC in the sides’ third meeting in history and second at StubHub Center. Ibrahimović recorded his 499th career goal in the match.
