LOS ANGELES -- The LA Galaxy inched forward in the MLS Power Rankings presented by the ECHO Outdoor Equipment.
The Galaxy earned a dramatic victory over LAFC last Friday, defeating Bob Bradley's team 3-2. Los Angeles return to action on Saturday when they face Portland Timbers at the renovated Providence Park.

So where exactly has that LA Galaxy team been all season? If they played the way they did against LAFC every game, they'd be neck-and-neck in the Supporters' Shield race. Instead, they're nine points back. Regardless of why they haven't brought it every week, they really need to turn it up more regularly.
