LOS ANGELES (Monday, May 13, 2019) – The LA Galaxy (7-4-1, 22 points) are back at home this weekend, taking on Colorado Rapids at 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 19 at Dignity Health Sports Park (Spectrum SportsNet).
Against Colorado Rapids, the Galaxy are 37-26-11 all-time. LA holds an impressive 24-7-6 record against Colorado at home. The LA Galaxy didn’t earn a win against the Colorado Rapids in 2018, suffering a loss at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in early August before turning in a 2-2 home draw later that month.

Over the weekend, the Galaxy fell 2-0 to NYCFC at home, their first home loss of the 2019 season. The Galaxy were the last team in MLS to have a perfect home record. LA ended the weekend second in the MLS Western Conference standings.
Last week, the LA Galaxy announced the acquisition of 26-year-old Favio Alvarez, on loan from Atlético Tucamán in Argentina’s Primera División.
