LA Galaxy return home to host Philadelphia Union | Weekly Schedule

LOS ANGELES (Monday, April 8, 2019) – The LA Galaxy (4-1-0, 12 points) are back at Dignity Health Sports Park this weekend to take on Philadelphia Union (3-2-1, 10 points) on Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcasted live on Spectrum SportsNet.


The Galaxy are 7-1-3 all-time against Philadelphia Union, with their only loss coming in 2012. Last year, LA defeated Philadelphia 3-1 with goals from Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ola Kamara and Michael Ciani.


This weekend, the LA Galaxy made it three straight wins with a 2-0 victory against Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place. It was the Galaxy’s first win in Vancouver since 2013. With the win, the Galaxy made it four wins in their first five games, the club’s best start to an MLS Regular Season since 2010. In the match, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Daniel Steres tallied goals and were named to the MLS Team of the Week earlier today.
