LA Galaxy train during International Break | Weekly Schedule

LOS ANGELES (Monday, March 18, 2019) – The LA Galaxy enter the first international break of the season this week, with two weeks to prepare before their next MLS fixture. Next, the LA Galaxy will take on Portland Timbers at 6 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 31 at Dignity Health Sports Park (ESPN2).


In action this week are LA Galaxy midfielders Sebastian Lletget and Jonathan dos Santos, who have been called in by their respective countries for two preseason exhibitions. Lletget and the U.S. Men’s National Team are scheduled for challenges against Ecuador on March 21 at Orlando City Stadium, then five days later against defending South American champion Chile on March 26 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Both matches will be shown live at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN2, UniMas and UDN.

Dos Santos and the Mexican National Team will face Chile at 7:15 p.m. PT on Friday, March 22 at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego before heading north to take on Paraguay on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. PT at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.


Over the weekend, the LA Galaxy defeated Minnesota United FC 3-2 at Dignity Health Sports Park. Jonathan dos Santos, Chris Pontius and Sebastian Lletget all scored their first goals of the season in the match. The Galaxy are now 2-1-0 and 5th in MLS Western Conference standings.
