Earlier this season, Galaxy II met Las Vegas Lights FC again, this time resulting in a 0-0 stalemate.

Los Dos will look to build on a successful result from last weekend, when they defeated local rivals Orange County SC. Galaxy II won the match 2-1, and picked up a valuable three points. Frank Lopez scored both goals for Galaxy II, securing a brace and the win, while goalkeeper Justin VomSteeg was again in good form, making a season high seven saves during the match.

The home side for this Fourth of July clash dropped their last match, losing out 1-0 at home to Oklahoma City Energy FC. This week, they will look to get back on track against Los Dos, who have pushed into 11th place in the USL Western Conference. With Las Vegas occupying the final playoff spot at 10th, both sides will be pushing even harder for all three points in this midseason fixture.
