Meet LA Galaxy legend Mauricio Cienfuegos and midfielder Ema Boateng at Wednesday's LA Galaxy II game

2016 LA Galaxy Ring of Honor inductee and soccer legend Mauricio Cienfuegos and midfielder Emmanuel Boateng will sign autographs and take pictures with fans ahead of LA Galaxy II’s match with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Wednesday, May 4. Cienfuegos will be in the stadium’s main concourse from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Kickoff for Los Dos’ match is at 7:30 p.m.

Cienfuegos, 47, played for the Galaxy from 1996-2003, made 206 appearances and had 80 assists and 35 goals. The Salvadoran also was a member of the 2002 MLS Cup winners.
Boateng, 22, joined the LA Galaxy ahead of the start of the 2016 season. He's played in 6 games so far, 3 starts, and tallied a goal and two assists in the Galaxy's 5-2 win over Real Salt Lake. 

Fans wanting to attend can purchase tickets at //www.lagalaxy.com/schedule/2; tickets start at $10. It will be LA’s first game of the 2016 season in the Track & Field Stadium. Offseason renovations to the stadium were completed recently to better accommodate both players and fans ahead of the stadium’s reopening.


To mark the stadium’s reopening, the first 1,000 fans to enter on Wednesday night will get a “This is LA” t-shirt. In addition, fans can enjoy free parking, $2 tacos and $2 beers. Galaxy II currently leads the USL in goals scored and they sit atop the USL Western Conference standings with a 3-0-4 record. They are one of three unbeaten teams in the league.
