Lineup Notes:

  • On the second-straight road match,  Guillermo Barros Schelotto will make one adjust to the lineup following Saturday’s contest vs. NYRB.
  • Goalkeeper David Bingham starts his 45th straight game in the net since joining the Galaxy. He has not missed a match since joining the club ahead of last year.
  • Rolf Feltscher is back for a third-straight match since returning from injury after missing the Galaxy's matches against Philadelphia and Minnesota.
  • In the center is Daniel Steres, who has made 82 appearances during his time with the club since signing from LA Galaxy II after the 2015 season. He is one of three players to have started every game for the Galaxy this season (Uriel Antuna, Jonathan dos Santos).
  • Alongside Steres is the Uruguayan and horse-riding/goal-scoring Diego Polenta, who makes his 10th start of the season. Polenta played a key role in both goals last week, assisting on the first on both. He now has three assists in his last two games.
  • Out wide on the left is Jorgen Skjelvik, who returns to the starting XI after lineup rotation following a busy string of matches.
  • In the center of the midfield is Mexican international Jonathan dos Santos, who continues to have a standout season in midfield. Dos Santos controls the tempo for LA - a good game for Dos Santos is a good game for the Galaxy.
  • Making his 10th-straight start of 2019 is midfielder Sebastian Lletget, who will make the 74th start of his MLS career. In all, he has 12 goals and 13 assists.
  • Completing the midfield mix is Joe Corona, the 28-year-old U.S. Men’s National team veteran who was signed to the Galaxy through the use of Target Allocation Money on March 6. Corona also makes his 10th start in MLS this season.
  • On the left will be the young and the speedy Mexican international Uriel Antuna. The Manchester City loan has started every game this season and has scored in each of his last two games.
  • On the right, the MLS veteran Chris Pontius once again gets the nod. Pontius has 51 goals and 37 assists in all during his time in MLS, amassing 249 appearances. He has two straight assists.
  • Up top is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who plays soccer very well.
