Staff Sergeant Lopez is a first-generation service member who has proudly served in the U.S. Army since July 2018, with more than eight years of active-duty service. Her career has taken her from Fort Jackson, South Carolina, to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and now Pasadena, California, where she serves as an Army Recruiter.
Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of supporting Soldiers, served communities, and developed as a leader. Lopez dedication to service and personnel readiness has been recognized through numerous awards, including three Army Commendation Medals, five Army Achievement Medals, two Army Good Conduct Medals, and the Colonel Robert L. Manning Achievement Medal.
As the first person in her family to serve in the military, she takes great pride in the opportunities the Army has provided her with to grow personally and professionally. Above all, she hopes her service inspires her daughter and others in my community to believe in themselves, pursue their goals, and create opportunities for their future.
