United States Army Veteran Sergeant Armen Babasoloukian is our Hero of the Match for April 27 vs the Portland Timbers.
Sergeant Babasoloukian is from Pasadena, California and is a proud Armenian American who is a combat veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, 4th brigade combat team, Alpha 2/321. A unit renowned for its rapid deployment and elite paratroopers. Armen was deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, where he received a combat action badge and two stars on his Afghanistan Service Medal. Babasoloukian also received a humanitarian award for his service during Hurricane Katrina Relief in New Orleans.
After transitioning from active duty, he graduated from UCLA where he focused on theatre and stage performance. Not only does he have multiple film credits, but he has also starred in many national commercials for Fortune 500 companies. Sergeant Babasoloukian also loves to spend his time with his family and the love of his life, Monica.
