Throughout Sergeant Lei’s career she has served with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve; Marine Transport Squadron Detachment Andrews; and Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command, gaining experience in fast-paced, demanding environments.
Lei has deployed twice in support of Operation Inherent Resolve to Qatar and Kuwait, contributing to mission readiness and supporting Marines across the Area of Responsibility. In leadership roles, she has focused on accountability, setting examples, and mentoring Marines while upholding standards.
She currently serves as a Drill Instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, where she trains and develops recruits, instill discipline, and reinforce Marine Corps core values.
Some of her awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal; the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal; the Joint Meritorious Unit Award and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
