United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Camicho Mumper is our Hero of the Match | July 12, 2025

Staff Sergeant Camicho Mumper enlisted from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and began recruit training at Parris Island in August 2016. She completed Marine Combat Training and became a 3043 Ground Supply Administration Clerk.

She served at the 1st Supply Battalion as a Supply Chain Liaison, Property Manager, and Fiscal Manager. Promoted to Corporal in 2018, she transferred to Marine Aircraft Group-36 in Okinawa and was promoted to Sergeant in 2019.

In 2020, she served at Marine Corps Base Hawaii as Supply Chief, Range Safety Officer, and Marksmanship Coach, supporting over 3,000 Marines. She participated in humanitarian efforts, including Task Force Kuleana and a major multinational disaster relief exercise.

She later served as Supply Chief and Corporals Course Instructor at Headquarters Battalion Kaneohe Bay, mentoring 60 plus Marines. In 2023, she helped deactivate the 12th Marines Battalion and was promoted to Staff Sergeant. After supporting unit activation at 1st Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, she attended Recruiter School and now serves at Recruiting Station Fullerton, Orange County.
