United States Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman Justin Moore is our Hero of the Match | July 16, 2025

Chief Hospital Corpsman Moore began his career with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, deploying twice with the 31st Marines Expeditionary Unit after completing the Amphibious Raid package. In 2012, he served as Acute Care Work Center Supervisor at Naval Medical Center San Diego. In 2015, he joined 1st Medical Battalion and deployed with the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force to Kuwait and Iraq, earning a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for saving eight lives. In 2018, he became a Hospital Corpsman “A” School instructor and earned his Master Training Specialist designation. He later served with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines and was selected as Division Medical Operations Coordinator.

Promoted to Chief in August 2023, he now serves as the Senior Medical Department Representative for 5th Battalion, 14th Marines. Some of his qualifications include Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor and Master Training Specialist.
