Master Sergeant Black enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2006 and is currently the Inspector General Senior Enlisted Leader for Space Systems Command, El Segundo for Space Force. She advises the Field Command Inspector General on inspection and oversight for 230 critical inspection items used to assess the four major graded areas of the Air Force Inspection System. She also manages Inspector General team execution and planning of Air Force Inspection System activities for Space Base Delta 3 and Space Systems Command, supporting 6,500 personnel and $9 billion in acquisition programs.
Throughout her career, Master Sergeant Black has served as a Radio Communications Operator, Airman Leadership School Instructor, Cyber Security Officer, and Senior Enlisted Leader. She has also performed numerous additional duties, including Spanish Translator, Physical Training Leader, Master Resiliency Instructor and Unit Fitness Program Manager.
Her assignments have included duty locations in Mississippi, Maryland, Turkey, Florida, and California.
