The Hero of the Match presented by Pirnia Law is Veteran Supply Sergeant Lennin Tejada of the U.S. Army.

Sergeant Tejada served for six and a half years in the United States Army. He was a Paratrooper with the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Aviation Regiment, an element of the 82nd Airborne Division. The 82nd Airborne is the nation’s Global Response Force. Once ordered, it can mobilize, load, and land anywhere in the world in less than 36 hours to perform combat operations, assist U.S. allies, and provide humanitarian assistance. In 2002, Sgt. Tejada deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he was responsible for Supplies and Logistics for Task Force Corsair and Special Operations. He earned multiple awards for his role in Operation Anaconda and Operation Mountain Sweep. In 2003, Sgt Tejada was sent to AL-Fallujah Iraq, during the initial invasion of US forces in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tejada was part of a Quick Reaction Force during the First battle of Fallujah called "Operation Vigilant Resolve" and 2nd battle of Fallujah "Operation Phantom Fury”, as well as leading his Squadron on Convoy, Base, and Supply & Logistics security. In 2004, Sergeant Tejada was deployed to Georgetown, Bahamas, and Turks-Caicos Islands for Operation BAT in coalition with US Navy, US Coast Guard and DEA agents in support of the War on Drugs.
