Zlatan Ibrahimovic named as finalist for three MLS end-of-year awards including Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player

LOS ANGELES -- Zlatan Ibrahimovic was named a finalist for three MLS End-of-Year Awards including the Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player award on Wednesday.


Ibrahimovic enjoyed a banner first season with Los Angeles, scoring 22 goals and 10 assists in 27 appearances. For his credit, Ibrahimovic was named a finalist for the league MVP honor, Newcomer of the Year, and the Comeback Player of the Year. 


Ibrahimovic was named the LA Galaxy's Player of the Year, presented by Herbalife Nutrition last Sunday.
