LA Galaxy partners with StubHub Center Foundation to host 14th Annual Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast on Monday, Nov. 20

The LA Galaxy has partnered with StubHub Center Foundation to host the 14^th Annual Thanksgiving Foundations' Feast at StubHub Center’s American Express Stadium Club on Monday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. PT.

As part of the event, LA Galaxy players as well as staff from both the LA Galaxy and StubHub Center will help serve a complete Thanksgiving meal to 250 local children and families in need. An annual tradition at StubHub Center since 2003, this year’s event will feature the serving of a full Thanksgiving buffet, including turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. Arts & crafts, activities, and gift bags will also be provided.

The Foundations will host families from Los Angeles Children and Family Services, The Salvation Army Red Shield, Koinonia Family Services, El Nido Family Services, Children’s Institute Inc., Gage Middle School and Elizabeth Learning Center.

This year’s Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast is made possible by donations from the LA Galaxy, StubHub Center, Levy Restaurants, Coca-Cola, StubHub, Ralph's/Food 4 Less, Bristol Farms, Marie Callender's, Bulletproof Coffee, Melissa’s, LAUSD Homeless Education Program.

The StubHub Center Foundation will also partner with Food Finders to host a Food Drive for national “Giving Tuesday” on Tuesday, November 28. Non-perishables and toiletries will be collected in the StubHub Center lobby on Giving Tuesday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT. The list of needed items can be found atwww.stubhubcenter.com.

Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving to kick off the charitable season. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy.
