The LA Galaxy came alive with not a moment to spare to extend their unbeaten streak to six.

Trailing most of the night despite playing up a man, the Galaxy rallied for a 3-2 win over the New England Revolution behind dramatic stoppage-time goals from Dave Romney and Chris Pontius in an exciting, chippy match Saturday at Gillette Stadium.

Pontius also scored a very nice first-half goal on a looping cross from Ashley Cole, who was sent off in the 85th minute after picking up his second yellow card. Cristian Penilla was shown a straight red card for New England in the 23rd minute for kicking out at Romain Alessandrini.

Luis Caicedo scored his first MLS goal and added an assist for the Revs, who hadn't lost in seven straight coming into the game. Diego Fagundez opened the scoring on a great give-and-go with Caicedo.
