MLS WORKS and ESPN hosted the 5th Annual Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Showcase on Tuesday at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta, GA. The match featured athletes from 21 MLS clubs and ended in a 1-1 draw between the East and West Unified Sports All-Star soccer teams.
Lauryn De La Torre, 23, from Newbury Park, CA features while in the middle of her second year on the LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified team, and Josue Foster from Los Angeles, CA is a four-year veteran for the LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified team.
Making the trip with them was LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Coach Armando Guzman.
