CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy dropped a few places in the MLS Power Rankings presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment.
The Galaxy went winless in two matches last week with a 2-2 draw against Colorado Rapids, and then a 5-0 loss to Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday. Los Angeles find themselves in fifth place in the Western Conference.

The talk coming out of the Galaxy's humiliating 5-0 defeat on Saturday against Seattle centered on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's no-show. The striker's decision was amplified because LA was missing a number of other key players for the weekend.

It was a bad week for the Galaxy, getting pegged back at home against the Rapids and getting blown away in Seattle. While it's fair to point out the players missing vs. the Sounders, we should probably ask if injuries, suspensions and other absences are ultimately going to torpedo LA's chances in this era of their history.
