Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) honored the LA Galaxy at its 2018 Los Angeles Builders Ball on Thursday, Sept. 27. The annual event acknowledges outstanding individuals and organizations that share Habitat LA's dedication to revitalizing the landscape of Los Angeles.
The event also raised funds and awareness for the organization's Building a Greater Los Angeles campaign, which empowers low-income families by building strength and stability through homeownership.
The LA Galaxy received the Foundation Builder Award in recognition of their commitment to helping those in need through the LA Galaxy Foundation. The LA Galaxy has been an important partner and long-time support of Habitat for LA for nearly a decade.
Holly Robinson Peet and Watt companies were also honored at the event for their support of Habitat LA.
