On Monday, January 21st, Street Soccer USA and the LA Galaxy Foundation partnered to host a soccer clinic at Union Rescue Mission. Union Rescue Mission (URM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people experiencing homelessness.
At the URM gym, youth were divided into three groups based on age level. The three groups rotated between taking shots with LA Galaxy inflatable and two stations played games that requires dribbling and passing accuracy. When wrapping up the clinic, each coach identified one participant that exemplified playing with heart.
With help from LA Galaxy Star Squad, all youth participated in the soccer shop where they received shorts donated by the LA Galaxy Foundation.
