LA Galaxy announce loans for Bradford Jamieson IV and João Pedro

LOS ANGELES (Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has loaned forward Bradford Jamieson IV to San Antonio FC in the USL Championship for the 2019 season and midfielder João Pedro to C.D. Tondela in the Primieira Liga through June 30, the top division of Portuguese soccer. The LA Galaxy maintain the right to recall the players during the length of the loan.


Bradford IV, 22, signed a Homegrown Player contract with the Galaxy in 2014. After contributing to LA Galaxy II, Jamieson IV earned his first minutes with the LA Galaxy in July 2014, when he provided his first MLS assist of his career to Robbie Keane. In all, he has made 42 appearances with 20 starts, while scoring four goals and recording two assists as a member of the Galaxy.


Pedro, 25, joined the LA Galaxy from Vitória Guimarães of Portugal’s first division ahead of the 2017 Major League Soccer Season. In all, he has made 31 appearances with 27 starts while scoring one goal and recording two assists as a member of the Galaxy. Most recently, Pedro was on a 10-month loan to Gymnasticos Syllogos Apollon Smyrnis in the Super League, Greece’s first division.  


The LA Galaxy will begin the season with the 2019 Home Opener at Dignity Health Sports Park when the Galaxy host Chicago Fire on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. PT. Tickets to that match are on sale now, available here.
