LA Galaxy add Galaxy II players Brian Iloski and Don Tchilao for U.S. Open Cup match

The LA Galaxy have added LA Galaxy II midfielders Brian Iloski and Don Tchilao to the team’s roster via short-term loans, the club announced today.

Both players will be a part of the game-day roster during tonight’s U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 match against the Portland Timbers in Providence Park.

Tchilao was originally selected by the LA Galaxy with the 36th pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, and signed with Los Dos after a four-year career at Oregon State, where he recorded 15 goals and 13 assists in 71 appearances for the Beavers. This year for LA Galaxy II, he has made 13 appearances with 10 starts for the club.

Iloski, an LA Galaxy Academy product, signed a contract with LA Galaxy II in April after having played for Legia Warsaw in Poland’s Ekstraklasa. A native of Escondido, California, Iloski has made nine starts in 10 appearances while scoring two goals this season for Los Dos.

A club may sign players from its USL affiliate to Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) for CONCACAF Champions League, Canadian Championship, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and exhibition matches. A club may sign a player to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements each season (maximum of 16 days).
