Due to concerns around coronavirus (COVID-19), the LA Galaxy announced that the 2020 LA Galaxy Cup Tournament has been canceled.
The global youth tournament showcase was scheduled for Saturday, April 4 – Friday, April 10 with Boys’ & Girls’ Developmental Academy & Club teams from around the world competing in Southern California in the U11 – U16 age groups. All teams who have paid registration fees for the 2020 tournament will receive a full refund.
Yesterday, Major League Soccer announced that it had suspended match play for 30 days, effective immediately, as the league continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 with its medical task force and public health officials.
Additionally, in conjunction with the state of California and the California Department of Public Health, all LA Galaxy II, LA Galaxy Academy and Dignity Health Sports Park public events and activities have been postponed.
