Lineup Notes:
- Guillermo Barros Schelotto will roll into Saturday afternoon’s contest vs. LAFC shorthanded, as two Designated Players will be absent from the starting XI: JDS starts on the bench as he regains full match fitness while Chicharito misses today as he recovers from a calf strain.
- In net, David Bingham continues to start for the Galaxy and will enter Saturday as the No. 1 choice. He will make the 167th start of his MLS career Saturday.
- On the right side of the defense, Rolf Feltscher once again gets the nod. The Venezuelan international will make his fifth start of the season.
- Starting in the center of defense is the youngster Nick DePuy, who has impressed in limited action this year since signing from LA Galaxy II last season. The 2019 Los Dos Defender of the Year makes his third start of the year.
- Alongside DePuy is Daniel Steres, one of the longest-tenured LA Galaxy Players. The SoCal product makes his 97th start in an LA Galaxy jersey.
- On the left is the former Liverpool and Bundesliga standout Emiliano Insua. The Argentine joined the club this offseason and has started every match at left back thus far.
- In the midfield, Perry Kitchen will sit in front of the backline and look to break up LAFC’s attack Saturday. Kitchen boasts extensive MLS experience, with 191 previous starts.
- Alongside Kitchen in the center of the pitch is Joe Corona, a vital part of the Galaxy midfield. Corona helped earn the penalty in the Galaxy’s most recent match vs. LAFC.
- Rounding out the center of the pitch is Sebastian Lletget, who will push higher up the field to contribute to the Galaxy’s attack on Saturday. Lletget is nearing 100 starts with the club. Saturday marks his 95th start.
- Out wide on the right is Julian Araujo, a Lompoc, California product who is beginning to earn more playing time as a 19 year old. Araujo has been an active member of supporting his community lately, and spoke out again yesterday.
- On the left side of the attack is the Galaxy’s most dangerous weapon: Argentine World Cup standout Cristian Pavon. Pavon has 14 combined goals/assists in just 15 appearances for the Galaxy.
- Up top is Ethan Zubak, the LA Galaxy Academy product who is making his second-straight MLS start. Zubak most recently played all 90 minutes in the club’s contest against Houston.

- The Galaxy enter Saturday 2-1-3 all-time against LAFC.
