On Friday, August 14 the LA Galaxy Foundation and Herbalife Nutrition partnered to support A Place Called Home’s annual Backpack to School Event.
A Place Called Home proves a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central Los Angeles to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy and fulfilling and purposeful lives.
For this event, the LA Galaxy Foundation donated 300 adidas backpacks to A Place Called Home youth. In addition, LA Galaxy supporters and Cozmo lent a helping hand and assisted with filling over 1,000 backpacks with school supplies.
