As fans may have seen, on Friday, March 5, 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom announced significant modifications to the State of California’s COVID-19 reopening roadmap. These modifications, subject to future guidance from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, would allow Dignity Health Sports Park to host a limited number of fans for LA Galaxy home games beginning with the Home Opener. In accordance with state and local requirements, attendance will be limited to a percentage of DHSP’s capacity, based on COVID-19 positivity and case rates. All ticketed attendees to LA Galaxy games are required to adhere to all applicable local, state, national, DHSP and MLS rules, regulations, orders and guidelines, including without limitation, all social distancing, health screening or testing requirements. In addition, access to food and beverage and hospitality spaces may be prohibited or limited based on local and state restrictions.
The LA Galaxy intend to make a limited number of tickets available for purchase by Season Ticket Members. To accommodate tier changes for L.A. County, we plan to offer games in waves. We cannot guarantee that Season Ticket Members will receive an opportunity to buy tickets to any or all LA Galaxy games, nor can we guarantee that Members will be able to use their actual Seats under their agreement if they purchase tickets to a game. These games are not being provided under the terms of the Season Ticket Membership Agreement. However, Season Ticket Members can use any license fee payments previously paid or account credits earned under their Season Ticket Membership Agreement to pay for tickets to these games as they become available as described below.
On April 1, 2021 the LA Galaxy will go on sale with a limited number of tickets for the Home Opener, scheduled for April 25, 2021. With limited available capacity, the Galaxy will have presale opportunities for Season Ticket Members in presale groups beginning with Premium members, then by continuous Season Ticket Member tenure. Presale links for each game’s Season Ticket Member-priced tickets and parking will be sent via email with presale details, giving Members the opportunity to purchase seats, subject to availability. The Galaxy will send additional emails with similar details and links for future games as they approach.
As noted above, Season Ticket Members will be able to apply any account balance and/or account credits they may have toward the payment of their tickets for LA Galaxy games during the 2021 MLS Season. Keep in mind that Members also have the option to apply any such account balance and/or credits toward the 2022 MLS Season. No immediate action is required if Members would like to keep their credits or funds on account. However, on August 31, 2021, unless Members elect to opt out of their Season Ticket Membership Agreement, the remaining account credits and/or funds will be automatically applied toward payment of fees owed for the 2022 MLS Season under the terms of their Season Ticket Membership Agreement. If Members elect to opt out of their Season Ticket Membership Agreement, a refund will be provided for any remaining funds.
