LA Galaxy sign defender Séga Coulibaly

LOS ANGELES (Wednesday, April 28, 2021) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has signed French defender Séga Coulibaly from AS Nancy in France’s Ligue 2. Coulibaly, 24, joins the LA Galaxy after playing professionally for multiple clubs in France since 2013. He signs with the LA Galaxy on a two-year contract with a one-year option and will be added to the club’s roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

“Séga is a talented, versatile defender with good experience and we believe he can continue to grow as a player with our club,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. “We are confident in his ability to contribute to our defense as we add another player who will compete along our backline.
